Getting my head back in the game!

So lately I've been super tired and just plain unmotivated to do ANYTHING! I'm not in the mood to do any studying or assignment work. I'm not really up for going out, I mostly have to force myself or give myself a pep-talk which sounds so lame because it is lol (no offense to people who actually pep-talk them selves into doing daily living activities). Not only have I had a huge lack of motivation because when it comes to school or uni work, I swear everyone can say the same thing. But lately I've been more tired even when I've had a good nights sleep. I could get to uni and sit in the library trying to read at least a paragraph and just want to take a nap. It's the type of tiredness that I'm not use to, usually taking a nap would solve the problem but not lately. And since exams are just around the corner, I can't stand for this lack of input into uni right now. I'm getting super sick of myself and today was the last straw! I went to uni bright and early and basically I have nothing to show for being there from 8am-6pm. It's sad and pathetic and down right sicking!
I think I should also mention that I have iron deficiency anemia so it's not all completely my fault. I don't take any medication or supplements for it because it's usually pretty under control or at least mild enough that I don't notice the effects and on normal days it doesn't really effect me or get in the way of doing daily living activities. However some times if I go out shopping with friends, I might get a huge hit of tiredness and just need to sit down or I need to take a break or sometimes I'm kinda not with-it anymore like my presence is gone? lol if that even makes any sense. But other than that I'm pretty well off. I think the stress of exams and maybe I haven't been eating enough red meat lately, I don't know, whatever. Maybe a combination of all those things have really been hitting me hard recently.
So for the coming days I have decided to get my head back in the game. I've stocked up on iron supplements and a natural supplement to help with memory and brain function.
Yay for protein bars too!! Hopefully this tastes nice. I was at the checkout line and I swear this is how they make extra money. While waiting in line, you glance at the variety of lollies and healthy bars they have RIGHT INFRONT of you lol so I was tempted to see if this bar would help me throughout the day.
LOL Look at this MASSIVE pill compared to the tiny iron one. Haha oddly enough, it was actually easy to swallow. I've had pills that were smaller than this but still pretty big and it would hurt like a B**** going down the throat.

Anyway I'm so keen for tomorrow to see if these work.
I need energy. I need motivation. I need focus.
And I NEED results!
Another day of studying, come at me!

To be continued...

So the reason why I haven't been blogging the rest of my Sydney trip is mainly because I don't have any pictures. Yes pictures were taken, I am Asian and female after all, it's like in my nature to take pictures of EVERYTHING. But I didn't take my camera with me because I was worried about my baggage going over the weight limit plus my travel bag was actually really small so only clothes and makeup fit. It was actually the biggest mission packing all the things I bought over there into my already full bag lol.
For most of the trip I was with Chubzy so I used her camera and then on the last night we used another friends camera. So I am currently waiting for them to send me the pictures before I proceed. No pictures were taken on night one so that's why I went ahead and blogged about it. And that's why that post is more like an essay rather than show 'n' tell.
Also another huge reason as to why I haven't been blogging is because I have an assignment due soon and end of semester exams are coming up in about 2 weeks or so. So I am super stressing since I barely did any work before Sydney and all I do now is procrastinate :(

So I am sorry that I am keeping you waiting but I am constantly nagging my friends to send me the pictures and whenever I decided to procrastinate I will be typing away :)
Hope to tell all soon!!

The Adventures of Sydney: Chapter 1

Got back from Sydney yesturday and let's just say the trip wasn't exactly what I had in mind or expected, far from it. Let's just say that this never ending story has an incredibly evident theme of pure and utter legitimate STUPIDITY.
The unforgettable night that was forgotten
After arriving at the airport on time, my silly flight decided to be delayed. It was already a pretty late flight so by the time I arrived in Sydney it was 10:00pm. Then it took 30-40mins to travel from the airport to my friend's home, lets call her 'Chubzy' (which was located near George Street just before The Four Season Hotel) via car and because it was a Saturday night, it was hectic as to navigate through the city. So I arrived at her place close to 11:00pm then after dropping my bags off and doing all the usually greetings we left at 11:30pm and met up with some guy friends lets call them J,T and S.
By this stage we were all contemplating what to do at this late hour and after walking in new, unworn wedged heels for 10-15mins in freezing and slippery conditions on top of having nothing to eat or drink since 2:00pm that day, I was getting pretty frustrated. Most places we went were either full, had too long of a waiting time, or were closing too early. So finally after 'hiking' through an alley way (I think I should also mention that I have never once been in a creepy dark smokers alley way whilst in Australia but I guess Chubzy likes to show me all the different cultures Sydney has to offer) and almost tripping humiliatingly in public, we found a place and we pretty much couldn't care less that it closes semi early like around 2:20am. We sat, ordered, and I drank my cup of water like there was no tomorrow. I was literally that thirsty that I didn't even break lip-cup contact, I downed the cup of water in one go and if I could, I would have drunk straight from the jug.
We ordered a hot pot and some fried chicken which were so yummy! I love Korean food ♥ Then four bottles of Soju, four cans of Hite, and three soft drinks, needless to say we didn't stop there. We started to play drinking games and 'originally' I wasn't drinking AT ALL, boyyy was I wrong. I lost the second game and S decided to guilt me into drinking and I actually felt bad because everyone else had to drink when losing so of course I should drink too. And I did. BAD MOVE. 1 shot down. Next game I lost again because everyone was targeting me plus Chubzy didn't help by throwing me under the bus. 'Originally' we had made an unspoken alliance but she decided that I was losing anyway, might as well just contribute to losing quicker. Basically the game was a description game and everyone gets a turn to say a type of description like 'blue eyes' which means everyone who has blue eyes is down one point. You start with five points all together (we just use our hand to keep track) and the first person/s with zero has to drink. I had about two points left and T just had to say my name and that was it. He wasn't even trying to hide the targeting and now thinking about it, my name isn't exactly a description -_- Anyway one point left away from drinking and it was Chubzy's turn, my hopes were high and I even thought that I wouldn't have to drink this round. But nooo. Alliance broken, backs turned, betrayal and back stabbing, cut deep. From there I drank 3-4 more shots but only quarter ones that were diluted by Fanta but still adding it all together ontop of being a lightweight and basically having no food in my system, it was not going well for me. I get the worse throbbing headaches, sleepy spells, and racing heart whenever I drink and that night was no exception. Sitting down wasn't too bad but as soon as I stood up, everything thing hit me and I felt foul. I didn't need to throw up but I felt really sick so I induced vomited to get rid of the alcohol and felt so much better.
Whilst in the bathroom chucking my guts out like three times, each time people at my table were still doing shots of Soju including Chubzy. By the second time of puking, she came to the bathroom to throw up too. Then after my third time she went and tried to throw up. This is where the story gets interesting. Oh and somewhere in all this mess, we decided that we'd go clubbing afterwards lol
I walk into the bathroom to check on her and found bloody toilet paper on the floor in her stall. I went to the cubical next to her and stood on the toilet to check on her because she wouldn't open the door and there was blood on the seat, in the toilet bowl, on the ground, just everywhere. After screaming to her to unlock the door, she opened it and she had blood all in her mouth. At first I thought it was her teeth but it was just her lip. Turns out as she was about to throw up, she had slipped and hit her mouth on the metal casing where toilet paper is contained. By this stage she was obviously pretty drunk and talking crazy talk, couldn't understand any of her train of thoughts. She kept saying to not tell the guys about the bleeding or else they'd know we were losing or something weird like that. Pretty sure we lost the game ages ago when she betrayed me haha.
After we got back I was mainly focusing on not puking again and just drinking more water. Then for some reason two more dishes of food came out. I was like 'WTH, no way we can eat this. Who ordered it?' Apparently Chubzy had, never let a drunk idiot order anything. I had no idea what Chubzy was doing but she went to the bathroom a short while later and the boys were telling me to go check on her which now thinking about it sounds so stupid. I wasn't drunk but they clearly thought I was so telling one drunk person to look after another isn't exactly the best idea, boys are silly. I went to the bathroom and she wasn't in there. I went outside the restaurant and she wasn't there either. I went BACK to the bathroom and she still wasn't there. I went to the table and asked the guys if she had come back and no she hadn't.
So for a legit 20-30mins she was lost, we couldn't find her at all and the restaurant was closing. I think by this stage you can tell that we didn't end up going clubbing. Apparently she had taken her mobile with her before she left so we all kept calling her. She answered the phone and said not to worry because she was almost home then hung up, it takes like 10mins by taxis to get to hers, pretty sure she couldn't get to her place that fast my foot whilst drunk. We kept calling but there was no answer. By then there was no one left in the restaurant and we were asked to leave. So we packed everything up, didn't even touch the second batch of food but I think the guys still had to pay for it. After gathering all of Chubzy's things, I realised that her jacket was still there. So basically she was running around in the freezing cold city, drunk as a skunk doing God knows what.
We finally found her and it was only because she some how stumbled her way back to the vicinity of the restaurant. I don't know how she managed not to get run over but she was found on the street diagonally across from the restaurant, so across the street from the street that was across from the restaurant. My explaination is weird lol let me draw you a visual.
So the red square is where the restaurant is and the circle is where we found her wondering.
She had chunks of vomit in her hair, her eyeliner was smudged and she looked like someone took a dump on her face. We got her back to the restaurant side and I struggled so much just to help her walk and stay still. She resisted so much just trying to get her jacket on. I tried to find her phone which was no where to be found. I patted her down and there was nothing. Basically she had lost her phone. She then started to become even MORE uncontrollable. She was running around everywhere, wouldn't stop or listen to anyone. After a bit more puking and rolling around on the ground, I should also mention that her jacket is all white lol, we shoved her into a taxi. Most difficult thing because I was literally throwing her into it and she wouldn't move any further to let anyone else into that side of the door and because the taxi stopped in the middle of the road, I was hurrying like crazy to get it. I then had to climb over her just to get in. S took the front seat and told the driver where to go. We left T and J behind and they eventually managed to meet up with us.
Whilst in the MOVING taxi Chubzy decided that she didn't want to be there. Her hand reached for the handle and I almost screamed. She is so skinny and you'd think she is the weakest person but alcohol must be her spinach because I could barely prye her hands off the handle. Biggest struggle in the back seat and all the while S in the front was having a lovely discussion with the driver about being busy tonight or not -_- lol She finally calmed down and fell asleep on my lap which in a way was good but keep in mind she had chunks of vomit in her hair, some of it ended up on her shoes, and who else know where. I was getting sick from the smell of vomit but luckly we arrived at her place, kinda. The driver dropped us off at the other end of the street but we hopped of anyway. S came and help me get her out of the taxi and she collapsed on the edge of the road. She wouldn't get up, not even just to get on the side walk and off the road. After having to pull her lifeless like body, we managed to get her on the side walk where she just sat in the corner. Then came a few random drunk people who were such kind people. They were drunk but still offered to help her. They gave her some water which help her vomit up more. She was acutally getting better UNTIL.... The other two guys came. J decided or I guess was an idiot and didn't think things through, he push one the girls who was trying to help Chubzy, in order to get to her. This stired up SO much shit. The girl wasn't drunk but was clearly pissed off but her boyfriend was even more pissed of and this guy was HUGE! He was so angry but wasn't irrational or anything even though he was drunk. I don't think he wanted to start a fight or was even going to but he was just defending his girl. He was saying 'You should never push a girl, you have no right to do that' And I was completely on his side. That was a dick move. All of them where being good people and trying to help us out, I would be pissed off too if I got shoved after going out of my way to help a random person out. The guy was so pissed off, he told all his friends to leave and stopping helping us. Which I totally understand. This guy 'friend', J was beginning to piss me off!
Then after alot more random murmurings and incoherent sentences from Chubzy, she was mainly saying that she didn't want the guys to be there or to see her vomit, she only wanted me to be there. But because she was drunk, I was telling the guys just to quickly get her up to her apartment. She got so mad at me for this. Whilst dragging, pushing and forcing her to walk, She began angrily speaking to me. Saying that I was a horrible friend and how I don't listen to her. By this stage all the serious drama had built up in me and I just cracked my head off in laughter. I couldn't control how funny her angry was to me. This pissed her off even more. She tried to escape from my presence and S had to literally pick her up and run towards the apartment. She was kicking her legs like crazy in the air and made carrying her a difficult job. I later found out that he was pretty wasted at that stage too but I honestly couldn't tell. The drunk helping the drunk lol.
We got to the apartment and was let up by her mother which was another issue in itself. But first we had to get her into the elevator. She wouldn't even let me touch her, she was resisting all reason and by the time we actually got into the apartment she some how still had the capacity to take off her jacket and shoes and snuggle up on the couch. I went to go help make her comfortable on the couch whilst the guys were explain to her mother what had happen and since they were talking in a different language, I had no idea what was going on. Chubzy then started to cry like out of nowhere, her mother came to ask her what had happened and if it was the guys who had upset her. Of course she replies by saying 'No, the guys are good guys. It's Yan, she's a bad friend'Monkey Winks A BAD FRIEND!?! All I did was help and take care of her all night and she was calling 'ME' a bad friend. Then her mother talked to the guys some more and apparently they were fighting, according to drunk Chubzy. By that time it was past 4am and everyone called it quits. I washed my face and went to bed.
Now here is my little insert rant. I had to sleep on the floor which I wasn't complaining about, I was happy that I at least had a place to stay  for free. But I was in the same room as another girl who is literally batshit crazy! I'm not even kidding. I thought it was freezing when I was at the restaurant or when I was looking for Chubzy but the later/earlier it got, the colder it got. This girl apparently like to sleep with the window open...WTF!?! I honestly thought I was loony for wanting to wear shorts with stockings underneath to Sydney but this girl... I was freezing cold Monkey Icon but I didn't even realise this until the morning when I woke up complaining about the cold, Chubzy's sister told me that she sleeps with it open ALL THE TIME. Then I was informed that this crazy chick complains about it being hot. It's like 10 degrees, who the eff in the right mind would think it's hot. Even if it was hot, you wouldn't sleep with the window open in winter. It's called the common cold or a virus or the flu, ya dumb arse!Monkey Icons I later found out that she gets sick alot, no wonder -_- Dumb arse chick that is batshit crazy! The next few night I got to sleep with more blankets and the mother closed the window for me when she fell asleep. I didn't dare close it since the window is directly above her bed. But I'm pretty certain that when I woke up the window was still open so she must have opened it throughout the night. I was actually beginning to get a bit sick because of the batshit crazy girlMonkey Icons

END OF CHAPTER ONE

A little prologue of chapter two

The morning after, I got up at 9am and Chubzy apparently woke up to the sound of my voice. She said she felt perfectly fine, no hangovers or anything just found it weird that she had the taste of blood in her mouth. Her sister asked her where her phone was to which she replied that it was in her bag LOL She had completely forgotten everything that had happened. The last thing she apparently remembers is reading a facebook status post around the time before I began throwing up and after I was losing heaps of games. For some reason I remember this to be pretty early, maybe not even the middle of the night so for her memory to had faded from near the start would have to mean that she got drunk, fast!
We spend most of the morning talking about her mishaps and shenanigans. Chubzy was so annoyed that she lost her mobile, she couldn't even laugh at the hilarity of the night. She felt like it was the hangover movie haha. I couldn't believe she had no memory of ordering the second lot of food or hitting her lip, she wasn't even that far gone at that stage, or even having no slight bit of a hangover. It was like nothing had happened. Crazy crazy girl! We contacted S and T in the morning and they were equally surprised that she was fine. S even said that he'd never get her drunk again because he had to carry her that night haha.
Basic summary is that Chubzy got really really drunk, did some stupid things like busting up her lip and losing her phone, and she somehow ended up to be perfectly fine but had no recollection of anything.

LUSH UPDATE continued

Monkey IconsGOOD NEWS!!!Monkey Icons
I went into the Lush store today and told the store assistants my disgusting tale and actually showed them the revolting product. Needless to say they were equally as revolted and were more than happy to help me replace it, I was so over joyed. I'd have to say that Lush is one of the better customer service stores as I had also lost my receipt and they were so accommodating. They advised me to lean towards some of their products that have salt as a main ingredient as that would be less likely to cause me another allergic reaction, rather than nut based product like the Aqua Mirabilis. They told me that sometimes your skin can be allergic to nuts even though you might be fine with consumption, plus the body butter is super concentrated with the ingredients so it might have been too much for my skin or something like that. Either way I went with a salt scrub called Rub Rub Rub.
I'm not exactly a huge fan of the smell and I can't really describe what it smells like but it's acceptable enough for me to use it. It is a shower gel with sea salt so it has exfoliating properties and it can be used as a shampoo. It's got lemon juice and mimosa blossom and since I'm pretty certain I have never smelt mimosa blossoms before, that must be the scent that I can't describe. Monkey EmoticonThis lathers up so well, it's super soapy and bubbly and the little salt bits feel so good rubbing onto my skin. I haven't used it on my hair yet but I hear that it is great for adding volume so I'll try scrubbing my hair tomorrow night and see how that goes.
I think the only thing I don't really like about Rub Rub Rub is that I thought it would be more scrubby. I bought it thinking it was a scrub but it's actually a show gel with exfoliating properties so that was my mistake. So I'm still on a mission to find a good scrub for my body. I only got the little tub rather than the big one because I also wanted this other shower gel which I loved it the instant I smelt it. It has this fresh fruity smell to it that is just amazing, it literally exudes happiness which explains why its called Happy HippyMonkey WinksIt has fresh pink grapefruit juice, citrus oils, bergamot oils, and frankincense oils. I used it in my hair first and it is not great at lathering up at all. There were no bubbles or anything, the product just stayed in that one sections of hair and it just couldn't be spread around. This was actually pretty upsetting to me because I only got the smaller bottle and because of the lack of lathering, I had to use more of the product. I then tried it on my body but it didn't lather up either. I did however just watch a youtube video recommending that a loofah be used to help better lather it. So I'll try that tip tomorrow night.

So far so good with these two products, no hiccups just yet. Fingers crossed it stays that way!
I also got something else today so if you would like to see what is in that Myer bag head to my tumblr page missanythingandeverything.tumblr.com
hint: some new transportation devices for my feet :P

☺ LUSH UPDATE ☹

First off I wanna start by saying that I love Lush. I think all their products are just amazing and cool and mind blowing to me. In saying that, my recent purchases from there had a few hiccups.

Ocean salt was not one of the hiccups, I absolutely adore this product. I love the smell, the colour, and the feel of it. The only tiny issue I have with it would be the grains of rock salt in it. Some of them are massive and chucky and I just can not scrub that on my face. I compensate by using that part on my body to scrub with but like I said, it was only a tiny issue.

The next thing I got was the Aqua Mirabilis and this was a HUGE hiccup. I was not happy at all! Firstly I wanna just say that this is an amazing product, it scrubs well and it leaves the skin feeling like it had just been moisturized. My skin was so soft after using this, the little bumps on my arms began to fade and the discoloration on my armpits were getting heaps better just after a few uses.

It was probably about the fourth  or fifth day that I realised my skin was developing some pimples, mozzie like bits, and little red bumps here and there. It was a combination of weird things going on. And it was everywhere! It was all up my arms, down my thighs to my legs, it was on my tummy, on my chest area and it was even on my bottom. It was not a pretty sight. I figure that I must have been scrubbing too hard or something so I ceased using it until the bumps subsided. I waited about 2weeks until they were gone but I had a few faded marks and I used it again. This time it took no time at all for the bumps to reappear. It was everywhere AGAIN! It was just horrible. So I stopped using it for good now and its been about three weeks or so and the red bumps have gone away but I'm unfortunately left with some scarring.

As if it wasn't bad enough that I had paid money for a scrub that caused me an allergic reaction, I had also paid for a tin to keep it in good condition. But apparently not using it for three weeks meant that it would grow mold. That is disgusting --->
I swear there is no mold or anything like that in my shower. My other soaps that aren't in tins are nowhere like this and if I knew keeping it in a tin would cause this, I wouldn't have paid close to $6 for it. I'm thinking of going back to Lush and complaining about this products and hopefully I can get a replacement product. I'm not even looking for a refund, I honestly just want better results. I was so appalled when I opened the tin to take a random little looky. This is truly foul and unacceptable, I just couldn't believe this was just sitting in the tin, in my shower probably seeping out into my bathing area and causing me and my whole family diseases ewww Monkey Icon

And lastly the Lemony Flutter cuticle butter. This is truly buttery. I love the smell but if applied during the day, everything you touch next will be so oily. It's more of a over night product as it leave a residue and you wouldn't want to be walking around with oily fingers. In saying that, I do sometimes use it during the day haha I just love the smell too much to not use it all the time. And since using this my cuticles have improved so much. Monkey Emoticon
I'll let you know how complain goes and hopefully it all works out for the best, I really would not rather be stuck with a disgusting bar of body butter scrub and be forced to chuck it away.
And if you would like to see what cute outfit I wore today, head to my tumblr page missanythingandeverything.tumblr.com

❤ New Revlon products UPDATE!!! ❤

I'm just going to jump right into it because I know that before I know it, I will have typed out a super long novel so I'm cutting out the long intro for everyone's sake lol

So this was one of the products that I actually paid for. It was something that I had been looking for but in a top coat version rather than just a quick dry for polish. Overall it does the job but it leaves an oily residue and a eucalyptus type smell. Also with the sped up drying process, it does not help with the chipping and denting factor so you still have to be somewhat careful to keep the manicure intact. But like I said, it does the job so I will keep using it until I find a better alternative.

This is such a hard to use polish. It goes on streaky and has a tendency to not be consistent when applying to the nail. What I mean is that some areas of the nail with have full coverage of the colour but the might be little sections where the nail can still be seen like sheer polishes. However this happens even when applying a second or third layer and then it just gets way too thick. I really like the colour but this was just impossible to use. I find that a lot of revlon polishes are either hard to use or become gluggie/thick and just reach an unusable point that still actually has a fair amount of product left which is annoying because you feel like you're wasting nail polish by not using it. I'm going to keep attempting to perfect this polish, sometimes it might be my application technique or how much of the first layer I coat on or whatever but hope for this product seems bleak. Currently this is receiving a thumbs down for me Monkey Emoticon

Next is the Customs Eyes Mascara. I like it but I don't love it. It's kinda of a 'meh' for me because I'm in love with my Napoleon Perdis mascara. After using that one, which is like a comb rather than a brush, I find it so much easier to use and all my lashes get coated individually and perfectly but the Revlon one does go on smoothly with no clumping. Also in saying that its 'meh' I do love the fact that it does two things. It allows for added length and drama or length and definition. And it definitely will do either of them. So its a good product but it's not the best. It does different things that I'm not too particularly interesting in but I am trying to interchange the usage of my mascaras so I am using this currently.

This was the other product that I had originally paid for. I am loving it!! It is a tad too light for me but I think after a while it kinda settles in and doesn't look so pale/ghostly white. I'm pretty satisfied with this product and I kinda expected to be because I had looked into the product before going to purchase it and pretty much knew that it would suit me. I think for next time, when I run out of this one I'll probably get the translucent one so that won't have the ghostly effect at all. But I don't think that will be anytime soon and I'm sure by then other products will have caught my eye. Also with this product, the brush that comes with it, I actually don't use it but I use a puffy thing Monkey Icon that you can like 'puff' onto your face which I find is easier to apply and just looks like a smoother finish. I also just find that using the brush makes the product get everywhere and then I'm left with powder all over the bathroom floor so using the puffy thing is a much cleaner method.

This was the lip butter that I received in the goodies bag and I wouldn't usually go for a colour like this but since I got it for free, I wasn't complaining. I tried it and I actually really like the colour on me. It's not an intense pop of red but rather a subtle more wearable red and so much easier to pull of. The vibrant and colourful red is so difficult to apply and wear on an everyday basis for me so I think this is a good balance. Plus I kinda knew already that I would like the formula of it since I love my Strawberry Cupcake lip butter. I posted about that when I first purchased it and I mentioned that mine smelt like coconut so I've been wondering since then if all the other ones do too but the Pink Truffle smells mostly like normal lip stick, it kinda has a scent but not really. So it is either my lip butter or just that colour, odd hmmm...
While on the topic of lip butters, I absolutely love them now. When I first got this one, I was kinda slow to warm up to it especially since I had been using the Clinque Chubby Stick which I put on the holy grail list. I remember first using it and it becoming dry/crackly and I just didn't really care for the wear of it. But over time I've kinda adapted and now the wear is perfectly fine for me.
I'm really enjoying wearing these two colour together. I sometimes apply the Pink Truffle first and use the Strawberry Cupcake as more of a glossy brighter finish.

This eyeliner is SO black and SO easy to apply BUT smudges SO easily. But the end of the day, I would look like a panda and throughout the day it would kinda seep out through the side. This is in no way waterproof or smudge proof. So the only good thing about this is that its easy to apply. I like that its a really dark black but the fact that it doesn't last long on my eyes means that the darkness of the black goes else where which makes the colour not so great anymore. I've probably used this only two times and I don't think I'll be reaching for it any time soon.
Also in the picture on the far right, the top is a swatch of the eyeliner and the bottom is a swatch of the Pink Truffle lip butter.

So the last thing in the goodies bag is the eye shadow pallet. This has to be my favorite pallet to date. I'm not really an eye shadow person so I wouldn't go out and buy one. All the ones that I do have, which are only two other ones, have been gifts and the colour of them are so gorgeous but are just not easy for a beginner like me to pull off or apply. This however is the perfect pallet for a beginner. I've been using this for a subtle smokey eye look which I'm not entirely sure I'm getting right but at least I've finally dove into the eye shadow world. Also with the darkest brown on the bottom right, I've been using that to fill in my brows. Before that I had been using a brow pencil, which I still use for a few little areas or touch ups, but I just find that using only the pencil creates too harsh of a look while using the eye shadow is more smooth and natural.

So this is the actually goodies bag that everything came in and I've basically turned this bag into a storage for lip and eye makeup products. So all my lip sticks, lip glosses, lip balms, eye shadows, mascara, and etc... I used to just have one big bag full of all that plus foundations, primer and just a heap of stuff. So now that I have another bag, I just figured it would be easier to separate things and create somewhat of an organised system.

Next thing I wanna say is that I've started a tumblr account and my first post was today's OOTD. So if you would like to go check that out click righttt  here  <--- there hehe.

Oh and NEW PRODUCT ALERT!!!
When I went shopping and did my lush haul a few weeks back, I also accompanied my friend to the body shop. She had heard great things about their new seaweed line and saw that the product which is pictured on the right, had moisturizing properties. What this is, if you can't see the writing in the picture, it is basically a cream that you can apply either before makeup or whenever during the day. I like to do both, so if my skin get oily throughout the day I would just apply a bit and the oil is gone and my face is matte again. I didn't actually realize at the time that my friend ONLY wanted a moisturizer but because she picked this up I thought she wanted what this was offering so I tested it and it worked for me because I get really oily in my T-zone so I told her to get it because is actually works well. But the afterwards we both kinda realized that she doesn't get oily skin so that was a bit of a fail purchase. She decided to give it to me since I would get more use out of it and I REALLY do. I love this stuff!!! I'd rather pull this out of my bag and apply it to my face than using the oil blotting sheets. Mainly because it's gross looking at the oily sheet of paper which you know was caused by your face. But also because it seems like a lot of people still don't know what they are, so every time I pull them out and start blotting people give me the weirdest looks like I'm crazy.
I seem to be running out of concluding sentences lol but yeah byeee Monkey Icon

✰ NOTD and some exciting NEWS ✰

I honestly could not decide what to paint my nails tonight. I hate indecisive days like these :(
I went from this Revlon ColorStay pink polish in 060 Cafe' Pink which I really don't like the formula of it. I love the colour but it goes on streaky and it's hard to apply.

Then I went with this Raspberry colour that has undertones of purple shimmer, in person it was a bit darker than this picture shows, but I just wasn't feeling in the mood for that colour.
So finally, I decided to paint them this pretty blue colour that has hints of purple hue and on my ring finger, I changed it up with a vibrant pop of pink

The blue colour is Essie's Lapis of Luxury on the right and the pink is OPI's Shorts Story on the left
