♡ Mani Monday ♡

This is actually a totally random polish. It didn't have a name on it when I bought it because I got it second hand/used. But it's a really pretty natural nude-y brown color. 

I painted this crazy intense blue to match my outfit for today, which will be shown in an upcoming post. This nail polish is from Sportsgirl and true to the colour, it is called Sapphire.
This colour actually has a lot of sentiment to it since it was the polish that started my polish crazy. I wasn't hugely into nail polish about 2 years ago but I did have a small collection. One day I randomly painted my nails with this colour and from then on I've been a nailpolish-holic. I remember thinking this was the perfect dark colour that almost looked black but wasn't so it didn't have that gothic feel to it. Now looking at it, it just looks blue lol. I have know idea what I was looking at, clearly. The only reason why I don't wear this colour more often and the fact that this is the only Sportsgirl polish I own is because Sportsgirl polishes are incredible difficult to work with. They become gluggy and streaky and if you try to fix it with more layers then everything gets ruined all together. Oddly enough, this time it was pretty hassle free. Maybe I'm getting better at application..? hmm.. I did have to shake it a lot to get enough product onto the brush.
Overall I think all that drama and complication is worth it for this amazing colour. It was a pretty pricey polish, costing $7.95 but I will definitely be purchasing it again purely for the sentimental value. Good thing it's part of their permantent line.

♡ What's New Wednesday ♡

So I'm starting off this new blogging segment smashingly, posting it 10mins before it's officially Thursday. You can really tell that I'm a dedicated blogger.
Let's kicking this shiz off with food, of course lol.

On Monday I went to this new restaurant called Firefly Churrascaria for family dinner night. It opened not long ago this year in early May and located it is in Broadbeach (2739 Gold Coast Hwy, to be exact), this restaurant has made my occasional visit list. 

So long freedom!

Holidays went by so quickly and as you may have gathered from the title, University has starting again. Monday 8am woo hoo! Who wouldn't be enthusiastic about that, especially after going out clubbing the night before and only having less than 5hrs of sleep. Sounds like the best way, actually the ONLY way, to start the week. 

If it has clicked for you yet, I was being sarcastic. Uni was hell! I could barely stay awake. I heard nothing in lectures but "blah blah blah". The one tutorial I had, that I was actually paying attention to, the fire alarm went off and class was cut short. So now I'm behind in that class, great! Day one is really giving me a fantastic preview of how the rest of the semester is going to be like. 

I will be making a 'Holiday Highlights' video soon and hopefully I will be able to get that up sometime this week but considering I have an exam, yes EXAM! in week three, I may be dying in a hole so no promises. Also I will post pictures of the dinner I had tonight. SOOO FULLL! best food everrr mmmh 

BED TIME NOW before day two turns out to be like day one. This fatty is gonna go roll her blubber tum tum over to her massive princess bed. Good Night!

Super slack blogger lol So I skipped two weeks of 'mani monday' blogging. Pure laziness and bogged out partying caused this haha

Used my new Mimco nail polish 2 weeks ago and topped it with my super cool changing-colour-inthe-sun glitter polish

Last week I played around with this love heart design. I took a picture and removed it afterwards because I wasn't really liking it. Maybe for another time.

On the Tuesday night I was in a huge rush to meet up with my friends for dinner and I didn't have time to properly do my nails. But I still wanted to do them so I tried to multi-task, whilst driving. It didn't really work out haha And NOOO I didn't crash. I just had to paint my nails when I got there, super quickly and kinda messily.

When I got my Mae Movement bracelets in, I changed my nails to this shimmery pink to match the Bright Pink bracelet. I layered Inglot's 304 over OPI's Sparrow me the Drama

And finally, this weeks nails are gold, Gold Rush to be exact, from Revlon. Kinda to go with all the rose gold I've been wearing. I actually do have a rose gold nail polish but I thought that was wayyy too much rose gold. So balancing it out with different toned gold. Plus it's new and my mummy brought it for me ^^ she's so sweet ♡

❤ Pink Birthday Party ❤

So last week I attended a party my friend threw for her 21st birthday. Girls were given the choice of either a pink or white dress code and boys were only given black to wear. Of course I went with pink lol. I had so much fun and it was a great night. After the party, the birthday girl and a few others went to the casino where everyone (like anyone who steps into that money stealing place) except one lucky person, lost their money. The lucky guy that didn't lose money and didn't win either, did however treat us to a late night, fatty Maccas run. 

Those moments when you just want to crawl into a hole

Like the title says, I wanted to crawl in a hole. Why? you ask. Good question! My answer: A guy. As simple as that. Now skipping all the detail as to why it happened since it's kinda personal but I ended up in the hospital earlier this morning and I saw a hot doctor. Now usually this wouldn't want to make me crawl into a deep, dark hole. Actually it would make me want to drool and flaunt over him but I had previously seen him before when I 'worked' there for university as a student nurse. Unfortunately this time I was in my pajamas, bad ones at that. My pants were way too big and kept falling down plus they were see-through and because it was freezing cold I was wearing the ugliest sumo like jacket thingy. And of course no make up during a period of which my skin is slightly breaking out, lovely as always. And for some odd reason my cheeks have been super flushed all the time which made me look weirdly pink, only adding to my glimmering beauty. Plus to top it all off I was sleep derived. I literally laid my head down at about 3:30 in the morning and then was rushed off to the hospital at 4am. So I wasn't looking too chipper either. The only good thing that happened was that he wasn't the consulting doctor. If only I looked decently nice, I would have wish that he was the doctor.

I swear that these moments happen so often too me. Whenever you look crappy or just don't want to see anyone or be seen, you see everyone, particularly those hot sexy good looking guys you've been drooling over for months.

One break, that's all I need. I just wish I could catch a break and see the guy that I want to see when I look nice. I don't need to look spankin' hot or drool worthy. I just want to look decent and not make me want to crawl into a hole. That would be stupendous if 'Life' did that for me. Thanks buddy, high five, boo yeah!

♡ ViVa La Freedom!!! ♡

You may remember a few posts back when it seemed like all I was talking about was stressful exams and my impending doom of head explosion induced by the tormenting struggle for the need to study and the easy temptation of procrastination. After that was all over and done with and I somehow managed to come out of it partially alive. I will admit thought, there was a day that I was acting a bit off after a practical assessment piece, I'm not even joking around when I say I was off. I could barely talk properly and no comprehensive sentences were being made, walking was a challenge and I remember bumping into a lot of people. My main goal after the assessment was to eat and sleep. Which I accomplished, smashingly I might add, after which was followed by days of my favorite activity; procrastination. 

After literally all the nothing I did except for devouring my entire lineage's weight in food and watching all the teen dramas that have ever existed, during study week and exam time, holidays have come and are here to stay... for another 2 weeks at least. I've been on holidays for  about 2 weeks already and have been nerve racking-ly (?) my nerves are racked (?) :S receiving results throughout the weeks. And I am honestly proud to say that I have passed everything ACTUALLY I have done better than just pass. Yeah yeah yaaa! Can I get a WHOOP WHOOP *whoop whoop* I didn't think for a second there was a possibility of doing better than a simple pass. I actually got two credits and a distinction, I would have got two distinctions and one credit if a certain gaylord of an exam didn't completely ride me up the arse. 

But overall I am happy that I've passed this semester and I am just one step closer to the end of my degree. Meaning I am just that extra step closer to entering the 'real world', I'll be a working girl soon enough. Scary, indeed. But for now I am a party girl... okay more of a cupcakes and tea girl but I like to get down and wiggle my butt from time to time, maybe in the dead of night when no one is looking :P

I also posted about wanting a Michael Kors watch but couldn't decided which one to get for myself and my brother's finance'. So I finally OFFICIALLY purchased both watches just yesterday, the transaction when through and everything. Only now I am down a few hundred dollars lol 

So this is the one I got for myself. It's called the "Dylan" watch on the website however I think it might also been known as the  baguette bezel rose gold watch. I'm not sure about names but I did emailed the website and they kinda sorta danced around the naming and displaying issue I raised with them. In the end they did sort of convinced me that the watch that was being sent to me is the one that I want. So hopefully that gets to me as expected. This watch is $365.80 AUD so it was a bit pricier than the other watches I was looking at originally but I'm happy with this one so price kinda wasn't a huge deciding factor in the end.

And this is the one my mother chose for the finance, which is also different from the initial decisions. I ended up making my mother choose one because I could barely decided on the one that I wanted let alone for someone else. Really excited to get them in the mail. Eeep! XD I believe they should be arriving in about 2-3 weeks. YAY!

Also I will be going to Ribs and Rumps at Marina Mirage tomorrow night and as always I will be taking pictures so be prepared for some yum-tastic, drool worthy pictures. Until then ladies and gental... lol who am I kidding, it's just ladies... okay dudes lets be honest, it's just my friends reading this.

Back to basics. I'm loving this simple polished nail look. I've been so obsessed with color and sparkles that I just need some neutral to calm it all down. I can't stand not having something on my nails but I really needed a break from colored nail polish so this is a really good alternative. It's not super neutral so your nails won't look like mannequin nails, it's just perfectly sheer with hints of natural color to give that perfect clean polished look. 

♡ Cakes and Fireworks ♡

So I went out and about again on Saturday and had a lot of fun. Went to the cutest cafe called Bumbles Cafe nestled in Surfers Paradise along Budds Beach. Then hanging around Surfers for a bit before Dinner where we were all surprised with random fireworks. Pretty cool stuff.
