Guy-dar, TURN OFF!!!

Omgosh no joke I've only been in the library for 1min. I sit down and put my bags down. I look around and see this guy walking by who I kinda have a bit of a crush on. Whyyy!!!! Now all I can think about is him. He's so hot. Froth. Fml.

Fml too much water. I'm not thirst :(

 

Is it sad that I actually downed all that water. Yeah a bit. Especially since he wasn't there :( But after my devastation and urinating out all that water, I was walking back to my desk and saw him!!! Worth it. Fate!

Things are coming to an end

One of the saddest things, I ran out of oil blotting sheets. I am so devastated. Now I need to buy more :(((

On another sad note, today is my last day of placement at MAU. For the last two weeks I have been at Robina hospital working as a student nurse for my 'Clients with chronic conditions' class. It's sad to have to go but I'm moving on to my next placement for 'Mental Health' for another two weeks. Yippie! To celebrate my last day, I bought heaps of chocolates and a 'Thank You' card. I'm just the sweetest ^^ Because I got to work a bit early today, I was waiting in the staff room and I swear everyone thought I was the biggest chocoholic with all these chocolates in my hand bag haha 

One good thing about placement ending is that I can paint my nails again!!! YAY except I still have to take them off for nest week. Luckily next week Monday is a public holiday so that means... LONG WEEKEND!!! yipp yipp!!!

I actually am kinda glad that placement is almost over. I'll have time to do my assignments, I won't be as tired, and most importantly, I won't look absolutely wrecked after each shift. I can't believe how crap I look after work. I leave the house looking fresh, perky, alive, and ready to work. But afterwards, not only am I tired but I look just terrible. My face could probably make babies cry. Not even kidding.

Look at those ugly after pictures. I need to devise a way for my face to not look horrendous after 8hrs. I swear all makeup, not matter how long lasting the claim, it just never lasts on my oily, sweaty, crappy face. Until then I will be an ugly nurse, no hot nurses haha.

Gosh, feels like forever since I painted my nails but in reality it's only been a week. Now that I'm on placement as a student nurse at Robina Hospital I am not allowed nail polish :( breaks me heart. So for the five days that I've been there already, my nails have been naked. As soon as Friday came along, right after my shift, I painted my nails haha. Another haul will be coming up shortly with the new nail polishes I bought but until then here is a picture of one of them.

♡ Byebye iPhone 3G. HELLO iPhone 5 ♡

My vodafone plan recently ended so I renewed it an got the iPhone 5 and I totally love it. It's sleek, fast, easy to use, and so technologically advanced. I mostly spent the day adding in my contacts, connecting to iTunes and download apps. And taking selfies of course haha. I will do a extended and more in depth review and talk about it tomorrow after I get some sleep and edit photos. But for now ill leave you with a picture.

Man of my dreams?

My fantasy bubble of love, romance, and fate is getting popped. I guess when everything feels like is been done for you, you question it and try to find the bad amidst all the good. Most girls grow up learning fairy tales and happily ever afters. I was no exception and I truly believe in them, I image my life to be filled with worth wild romance and passion. But at them same time I learnt that if something is too good to be true, it usually is. So should I be optimistic or pessimistic? Glass half full or half empty?
I guess by now you are super confused about what I'm referring to. Nothing has been confirmed yet so I don't want to jinx anything or get any ones hopes up or put out any wrong information. But the jist of the situation is that I'm getting set up by family friends with a guy and let's just say his family is exceptionally well off financially. And his father is coming to the Gold Coast on Tuesday to meet me and give me the thumbs up for his son. HAHA.
Is it that easy meeting a guy? I think for now I'm going to be optimistic. Hopefully he is a nice charming fellow and everything goes well. If not then hopefully I make a friend. I guess all my hesitation of this whole situation is coming from the fact that I never thought I would be that type of person to be set up or even more so the fact that it almost seems likes it's mundane. I always thought meeting a guy would mean butterflies, heart skipping, and passion. Not meeting his father first.
And there's a big bunch of other stuff that I'm leaving out.
I guess the only way we will know how this will turn out is time. And meeting the guy. I hope he's good looking ;)

So after my last video editing fiasco, I clearly haven't learnt my lesson and I've film another one for me to edit. I'm in the process of converting the film and I'm just about to begin. If this video NEVER gets out, which is a total possibility, I mean come on this is me we're talking about, here is some lovely pictures that kinda give you the gist. It's like a trailer, sometimes you watch the whole movie in 2mins :P

♡ Filming ♡

Spent an extra 30mins getting ready this morning and also sat in the car for 30min. Why? Because I was filming another video. Hopefully I'll get it out by tonight but most likely not lol.
I also spent 30mins in the library looking for books and I finally got a library card. I'm a bit late in the game. Better late than never.
Now I'm shopping at robina for some batteries, pen refills and thongs. Just a random combination of useless things.

Weirdest thing just happened. And I swear this always happens to me. While getting ready this morning I happened to think about my 'kinda' ex-bf. We never really went out but I guess we were. Totally confusing. Even I get confused. I don't know how he popped into my head but yeah, I got to thinking about regrets. I quickly got over it. Don't worry. I realized long ago that I don't want him back. Anyway whilst entering kikk.k for pen refills guess who I run into. His mother. I'm amazed I recognized her. I usually super bad with faces. Let's just say there was a bit of awkward conversation making. I just think it's a bit funny how I can go months without thinking of someone and the one day that I do, I run into their mother. I'm gonna try not to read too much into it. I'm sure it was just a coincidence.
Also while shopping I'm simultaneously looking for a job. I was gonna print my CV this morning but I couldn't turn on my brothers computer, which is connected to the printer, because you need a TV remote to turn the screen on and it conveniently ran out of batteries which is why I am buy new batteries. Anyway christmas casuals are going crazy fast. I really should be handing out my CV today :(
Oh well. Back to shopping.

Technical Difficulties

Trying to film a video isn't as easy as all the youtube pros makes it look. I don't even wanna get started about the editing process. All I wanna do is film a short little video for a friend and I can't seem to get it to work. Why? Because the frame is crap and I need a tripod. I wish I had a tripod right here, right now. Oh and even my stupid Ipad isn't working with me as soon as I start recording.  

Giving up filming for the night and I'm going to do something outrageous and actually... Study!?! WHATTTT!!?? That's craycray! I'll probably blog later tonight about not actually doing any work lol. I do want to do another post tonight though because I'm a bit behind with updating so hmm we'll see I long I last not blogging lol

Thirsty anyone?

After seeing a recipe for a fruity smoothie, I decided to try my hand at it.

I failed miserably. It didn't taste bad... It just didn't taste great either.

Looking at the pictures in the recipe, I just thought it would be yummier. That's what I get for trying to drink healthier.    

Ingredients: Honey dew, kiwi, watermelon, ice, and mint

This drink definitely turned out better than the healthy one. This is definitely not healthy, but I did put in some low fat yogurt so... I guess I'm in the clear. 

The next blog will be about how to make this scrumcious drink.

I actually am get pretty frustrated, I keep buying and buying all these things and yet my list of things that I want isn't getting short. I am really close to spending $60 on three Butter London nail polishes and $20 on a Butter London lip gloss. Don't even get me started on the millions of bottles of hair care products I want or all the irresistible frivolous cute iPhone 4G cases, I don't even own an iphone 4G. But it's not exactly big news, I think we all established long ago that I have a huge spending problem.
