☆ HAPPY NEW YEAR ☆

It's 2013 yall!!! Woop Woop! Good bye 2012. 2012 was the year of boredom, crap-tascular happenings and un-eventfulness for me so I am more than happy for it to be ending, on the plus side we survived the end of the world. YAY for not having an apocalypse! I hope that this new year will bring change, excitement and memories that will last a lifetime. This shall be the last year I will have to creep open another text book, cram as much information in as possible within the last our before an exam, long sleepless nights attempting to produce an assignment worthy of a pass.... that is if I don't fail anything. It is the year I graduate, wave fair well to my childish years and ascend into adulthood, joining the 'real world' *gulp*. 2013 here I come!

So to start off my new year's eve festivities, I enjoyed a lovely asian style lunch with my parents. I devoured a whole lotta wontons and money bags. It's good being asian hehehe

Then I started to get ready for the night of sparkles and being surrounded by friends. 

Of course I had to take selfies. These are mandatory pre-event selfies... to check if my makeup looked okay :P 

Originally I was going to go to southbank, brisbane and having dinner then watch the fireworks by the river however that plan seemed to get a tad complicated and exhausting. So I decided to do what I did last year, it worked so well the first time might as well do it again. Me and some friends went to broad beach, had a nice picnic BBQ and watched the fireworks, both 8pm and 12am.
Again, mandatory 'waiting for fireworks' selfies. Come on! it's so a thing!... well I'm making it a thing :P





The fireworks were spectacular. Beautiful and enchanting as they rose up into the dark night and ending it's flight with a graceful explosion, harmonious to the atmosphere of the night. 

After the 8pm fireworks, me and my friend, May went to buy some sorbet which has now become a tradition of ours. Mmmm! I got Lime and Blood Orange and she got Strawberry and Mango. 

Waiting for the 12am fireworks was soooo boring! I think last year we started eating later or perhaps I was preoccupied with other things on my mind *to which we shall not speak of or name (wenwen :P) to notice how long 8pm to 12am takes. Either way we were all bored and had nothing to do but talk and light sparklers... and take selfies of course!

After then end of the festivities, we all headed to the casino to try our luck, hoping the new year may bring us greater fortunes than the one in passing. Me and May didn't gamble however we did enjoy a lovely and FREE alcoholic beverage *hashtag: winning*, the first one in the year on 2013. 

 An amazing night shared with old and new friends, couldn't of wished for better...well I could have but... lol anywayyyy

Happy New Year Everyone!!! I can feel it in my bones; this is my year!
